How does it feel to have this big gala event for one of your films, and here in Atlanta?
Man, it feels great. We have been dreaming of a moment like this since we moved to Atlanta.
Ironically enough, when we first came here, they had a movie premiere in this city in this location for Fled.
One of the Sony reps that's over this--that was her first premiere.
So now here we are again, and we've always really wanted to bring Hollywood to Atlanta
and really showcase what this city has to offer.
And because we live here and because we film here, it's such a big treat for the city.

How important do you feel it is for a faith-themed film to come out right now?
It's so important. Right now, we as people, we have so much to be thankful for.
You got hurricanes, poverty, stuff going in the Middle East and around the world.
These are really perilous times. So right now your faith is being tested--
whether or not you're an ardent believer or a Christian or whatever you consider yourself.
This is a film that I think can kind of renew that a little bit.

Boris Kodjoe & Nicole Ari Parker
Boris Kodjoe (David Taylor) with wife Nicole Ari Parker
How important do you feel it is for a faith-themed film to come out right now?
Boris Kodjoe:
It's absolutely very important--not just because of what's going on right now,
and the fact that people need hope and faith and belief in something and somebody--
but also because it's an inspiration to do more films like this to prove to the world
and Hollywood that films like this are successful at the box office.
It's important because we want more films like this to be made.
Nicole Ari Parker:
It's such an important time, I think, to go to the movies and feel good when you leave,
and this is definitely one of those films [that do that]; I'm so happy that he's a part of it.

Aloma Wright
Aloma Wright (Ernestine)
How important do you feel it is for a faith-themed film to come out right now?
It's very important. This is a very important point for us, and this is a very important film for us.
I hope that everyone comes out and supports it because if we don't, then we won't have them.

Tamyra Gray
Tamyra Gray (Rain Walker)
How important do you feel it is for a faith-themed film to come out right now?
I think that a faith-based film, or film in general about something we can all relate to,
is very important because it's not based on the fantastical; it's all based on real-life situations.
If a person is coming to view the film is struggling, they can say,
"That's right--at the end of the day, I do need my faith; I do need something else to turn to."

Keshia Knight-Pulliam
Keshia Knight-Pulliam (Maya Walker)
How important do you feel it is for a faith-themed film to come out right now?
I think it's very important given all of the different things that are going on in the world, and especially within American community--the hurricanes and so much that people are having to deal with.
And I just think that it's important to have different genres of film.
I'm not knocking the romantic comedies and the dramas and all the other different types of film;
however, it's great to have a balance.
A lot of times you have one type of film come out back to back to back without there being a balance.
I think this film fills a void that hasn't been filled in a long time.

Dwayne Boyd
Dwayne Boyd (Oscar)
How important do you feel it is for a faith-themed film to come out right now?
It's very important. With the state of the world right now, we need more projects like this.
We always see the negativity portrayed in Hollywood, so it's about time that a story is told like this--
a real story that can grasp all audiences.
